HAPPY HALLOWEEN

It's going to take me a month to get to our Halloween pictures.  Forgive me. It's starting to get slightly less ridiculous.

I want to take this time to find out about you.

Are you a blog follower or did you just happen upon my blog?

Are you looking to adopt? If so, what's your reason?

Are you adopting domestically (private or foster care?) or internationally?

How many kids do you have?

If you have a blog leave it in the comments below, I'd love to follow along.

Even if you find this post a year down the line, I'd love for you to comment.

So, if you read this blog post say something. Whatever you want to share.

  1. You already know but I'll play along. ;)
I am an avid follower of your blog. We have adopted once through foster care, sort of. She was placed with us through foster care but the adoption was actually private. We plan to continuing fostering because we feel like it's a calling on our lives. We may or may not adopt, it all depends on the circumstances at the time, but we definitely intend to continue opening up our home to kids in need of loving parents whether it's short term, long term or forever. We have one child now, a 15 month old daughter, and we'd be completely content not having any more kids if it weren't for the nagging reality of all those kids in the system who desperately need parents to love them. myMCMlife.com

  2. It's a small world. I found your blog through a link on another adoption blog, but now can't remember which one. I've had it earmarked for about a week and finally got around to clicking over today. I started reading through and enjoying all the awesome pics and then saw your name (annieglan) and realized you had left a comment on my blog awhile back. Crazy! So happy to be following along on your journey. I've been horrible about updating my blog lately- and can't imagine it will get much better until we get a new computer. We're actually just starting the process to go back for baby number 3- we're looking for an African-American girl 0-2 via foster/adopt like we did with both our other kiddos. (We got Savannah at 2 months old after a 4 week wait for a placement and got Miles at 7 months old after a 3 week wait- it remains to be seen how long we'll wait this time around). Best of luck on number 4 and I'm happy I get to see what unfolds. :)
