AWW MY LADIES!
We made it to NYC, I freshened up, and we went out.
I'm very protective of my friend's and I know what they need in a mate.
Seems silly, but I am 4 for 4 matchmaking all marriages.
I HATED Allison's last boyfriend and she totally thought I would love him.
Her new man was terrified to meet me, as he should be. This is my girl.
But he 1000% got my approval. They are perfect for each other.
We went shopping in the morning and then Allison was off to a hat making class.
Shannon and I had the afternoon together.
We walked the Brooklyn bridge
Went to Dumbo park (if we lived here I would be at this park ALL the time)
While there, we kept seeing all of these people with these delicious looking icecream cones. Shannon and I went on a mission, but I told her NO soft serve.
She took me here after many failed attempts to finding a real icecream shop.
The soft serve wasn't that good and I made a MESS. This is the beginning. It only got worse, much worse. Chocolate all over my face, drips all over my shirt, pants.
When we met back up with Allison, she said, "why didn't you go to that famous icecream shop by the park?" Hum. I guess we should have asked someone where they got their cone.
And my ladies know me well. They took me to a Russian club and it was AWESOME!
Very much a circus mixed with a wedding reception.
See the girls dancing with us, they were at our table. EVERY single woman there, under 50, was super model beautiful. During your meal everyone would just get up randomly and dance. AWESOME!
The next day we went to a drag show from brunch.
It was obviously pretty great.
We went to Central Park, and more than anything it made me sad.
You can't get away. Everyone is constantly surrounded and it's so hard to meet people there.
Allison informed us that this is the rape bridge. Shannon had her Patty Cat and was ready to use it. She loves that thing just as much as I love my knife.
And then we all just hung out
Thank you ladies for being so amazing and such amazing friends!
I love you so much and you mean the world to me.
