Mystery Call

I got a call from a number I didn't recognize and I answer (I always do) and it was Peanut's county worker.  He told me he's leaving the county in a month and finishing his master's degree to move on to bigger greener pastures.  We go on and on and I tell him about what happened to with Petunia and how pissed we are with our county and fostering in general.  He was upset.  He told me I should contact the media and tell them how JFS has failed us and the treatment we got.  He said how sad he was to take Peanut from us and how he wished he could have let us adopt her.  Her birth mom is pregnant again, but moved out of our city.  It was great chatting with him, and it was great validation and reminder that not everyone at the county is awful.
