After the zoo we met my parents at the newest Ethiopian Restaurant.
This was an authentic, no fancy frills, Ethiopian joint.
They were in the process of a coffee ceremony for two Ethiopians.
Apparently, there is a HUGE number of Ethiopians moving to the side of town where the hubs and I grew up. In fact an Eritrean family bought the house right next door to my parents.
Of course this only made me want an Ethiopian brother for Bear a thousand times more.
It probably didn't help that there was the most beautiful/ huge Ethiopian little girl there. I thought she was 3, but she was 1 and my girls were so in love with her and all of her chunky delight.
She followed them around and they danced together and it was precious.
I didn't take their picture because they were literally the only other people in there. haha
And then my dad danced with Honey when the other family left and took her friend.
After the restaurant, we met Mimi at a tiny little fair.
Pumpkin, patiently waiting for Honey and dad to come down.
This poor baby goat. The calf was charging and ramming it and the kid had nowhere to go.
I don't know if you can tell, but these horses were the biggest horses I've ever seen.
This was by far the best part of Pumpkin's day.
SHe couldn't leave without giving her horse a hug
These girls were STARVING, they didn't eat much of their dinner.
And I had to get my favorite fair food, deep fried Ore*'s. HEAVEN... Mmmmm
I spilled powdered sugar all over Bear.
But I don't think he minded too much.
