Second twins comment

Today at the grocery store we got our second, "Are they twins?" comment. I now think this is what old women say when they are just being curious and want to find out what's going on. The lady kept asking questions. How old are they? How far apart are they etc. I also noticed my first nasty scowl. I am sure other people have but I haven't paid any attention. This guy did it right in front of my face so there was no way I could miss it. If he would have said anything he would have gotten an ear full. Thankfully, he didn't.

Good Bye- for now

So the boys are gone and our house feels so empty. When they left M and I looked at each other and said, this is weird. We made friends with their FP so we should see them often. We will also, hopefully, be their go to respite provider.

The girls love having boys around the house

I LOVE these boys

AWESOME!

I love them! The little 5 year old LOVES being the oldest. The girls love boys. They both hug him all the time. They wait for him. It's just the cutest. He picks them up, I tell him to put them down. The 2 yr old is so sweet. He is totally a momma's boy. I LOVE THAT! Since my girls are more interested in playing than cuddling. E has taken it surprisingly well. This is a dangerous route for me. I am dreading the day they leave. When we go out it's crazy. I interrupt conversations to count. 1, 2, 3, 4 to see where they are. Getting dinner for 3 babies was hard. I would not have been able to go to the store if it wasn't for my MIL pushing the other cart. Well, I guess I could have, but I wouldn't have been able to put anything in the cart. So the trip would have been useless.

Really

Today I got the strangest comment. "Are they twins?" I have been expecting ignorant comments from strangers, but I honestly was thinking it would be race related. I mean really twins? I guess it could be possible to have twins of a different race...? I mean they are almost the same size. hahahah

Plus 2

This weekend we will be adding two boys to the house. We are providing respite for a family. I can't wait. This will be a trial run. I always thought 4 or 5 is the perfect number. We'll see how it goes :) I don't know how we will be to parents of boys. I always wanted boys, but I am so totally nervous. I know it will be fun. And when things get rough (you know they will) I can remind myself that it's only till Monday.
