Really
Today I got the strangest comment. "Are they twins?" I have been expecting ignorant comments from strangers, but I honestly was thinking it would be race related. I mean really twins? I guess it could be possible to have twins of a different race...? I mean they are almost the same size. hahahah

My sister actually has twins. Oh, the weird questions/comments. I get especially annoyed when people insist they are not twins. They are. I was there!
ReplyDeleteGeez people are stupid. However I remember I watched an episode of Big Brother one time and there was a lady on there (her name was a zodiac sign, maybe Aries..) She was black and her husband was white and they had twins that came out one black and one white. I mean, I'm sure they both had some features that were biracial looking or whatever, but their skin tones were completely black and white. Genetics are (is?) nuts!
ReplyDeleteI have two boys, 15 months apart, one walking and talking, one just learning to walk... I get the twins question almost every day. I'm very tempted to say "yes" sometimes so I don't have to explain or get the "evil eye" for having them so close together.
