box braids and festival.

It took me three hours, but I put Honey's hair in small box braids all over her head. I think it looked really nice.  I saw a youtube clip this youtube clip of a transracial mom.  Actually I don't think it was that clip specifically, but the one I was looking for wouldn't pull up on here. Which showed me how she cut her daughters hair. since I am none too familiar with black hair I cut it her way instead of how I learned in beauty school, the white way.  Her Blog is great. I was trying to be fun mom who doesn't care if her daughter plays in my makeup. 

Well, it wouldn't come off.  

I used eye makeup remover and everything... oops.

I scrubbed it off but left a rub burn in it's place.

I didn't realize I was rubbing so hard.

After doing her hair for three hours I told the hubs to take them up to our neighborhood perish. 

Our friend's who live a couple of streets away met up with them. 

 Apparently Pumpkin kept trying to climb out of the rides.  Thank God she wasn't able to.
