Parenting FAIL!

No judgement here please. 

So Honey was putting chalk on her lips (we're pretty sure she has SPD and are waiting for an evaluation) Anyway, the hubs told her to come in to show me what she looked like.

We started laughing which really upset her. 

This is where the fail comes in:

 And the hubs said, " She looks like a crack head. Like Dave Chappell*"

Her response, " I'm not a crack head, I'm a girl"

We looked at each other in shock.  

We really haven't gotten used to her comprehending what we are saying. 

Obviously awful. 

We told her that yes, she is a girl and not to repeat that.

Then we laughed even harder. 

 And that made her happy
