Yesterday Honey and I (mostly I) made Valentine's cards for her class. I think they turned out really well. From all of the other cards, ours was for sure the cutest.
We also had a visit from Peanut's social worker. Her GAL was over earlier in the week. She told me that they are going to call Peanut's family to make sure they really want her and aren't taking her because they feel obligated.
This made my day. I love that they both want her to stay with us forever. I told her I would of course keep in contact and would take trips to their hometown to visit her siblings. They told me not to hold out hope, but I really got super excited.
Anyway, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
(and some prayers for us and Peanut would be appreciated!)
