And all was quiet

This is really weird. Only having 2 kids is really an insane feeling. I don't know what to do with myself. While it has been really wonderful having one on one with Pumpkin while Honey is at school, it is just bizarre. I am half tempted to call our social worker and say, open us up for all foster kids and not just legal risk. At night when my god-daughter is over it feels a little better, but still, our house just feels empty. And that's saying a lot because we have a tiny house.

I went to Stan's orientation for dog training last night. They mentioned that they had a yellow scarf policy for some unfriendly dogs. They have never had a dog wear one, but I have a feeling we will break that record.

Babyless

Well, it was an unexpected call, but Cashew is now with family. We loved him for the short time we had him, but we are really glad he is going to a good home.

Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Prima ballerina

Some of my friends and I got a groupon for a dance studio. Honey was so adorable in her sea of pink.

But she doesn't want to smile for the camera
so she does something about it. She is thinking, try to get a picture now mom.

She started off doing really well.
And then she couldn't focus.

Pumpkins date

With all of this one on one with Honey, Pumpkin was due for a date. Actually, she was long overdue for a date.

She didn't realize where we were going.
Oh, now she's excited

Lion King 3D

And then we went out to lunch and she was BAD. But I think the hubs was partially to blame.
Next up, the book store and she got to pick any book she wanted. Would you believe the book incorporated her two favorite things, horses and princesses. Actually it was a book about the princess' horses.
My friend had Honey and took her to the apple orchard/ pumpkin patch. She didn't get a nap either and she was exhausted by the time we came to get her.
Throwing fits.

Stan

So...my mom would say she saw this one coming. Stan has a few quirks. He is very protective over his family and he has a very strong prey drive. We start training next week and we really hope this will resolve a few of his problems, because he really is a sweet dog. The only good thing that's happened to me in a while has been sweet baby Cashew. Hopefully my luck will turn around soon.

One on One

I took Honey to see her favorite thing ever. Yo Gabba Gabba (or Gabba as it's known in our house)

When I picked her up from school she was tired
And then it was all smiles when we got there.

My sweet tiny peanut had trouble fitting in her seat.

How many times did I ask her if she had to go to the bathroom? Of course just before it started she had to go.
Thankfully we got there just as the last bits of confetti were falling

Then some more confetti. She brought some home for sister.
Time for Biz's beat of the day

This was 2 minutes after getting in the car.

Father Daughter Dance

I volunteered for the dance, so I was expecting to get way more pictures than I did. Honey didn't want to dance, and I was so busy I could only manage to take a couple.
