Zoo day

It was unseasonably warm, so that of course means we went to the zoo

She wanted the kids behind her to look at the baby wallaby. They were not impressed

It was a pleasant surprise to find a new baby manatee at the zoo

E's reaction to seeing...

They were roaring for a pretty long time

Adoption

L's adoption has been delayed until next month. The county is really behind. But that's for the best seeing as she gave herself a black eye. Can you imagine that, going into the court room wanting to adopt a kid with a black eye? haahhaha The judge would look at us and say, I don't think so...So one more month until you see her beautiful face.

diapers

I wish I could post all of the cute pictures I have of BB and L. Hopefully, we get our court date soon!!

In the mean time, M brought me a box of diapers when I was in the bedroom

But it was giggling

Don't you wish all diapers came with an adorable kid.

Sisters

It melts my heart every time I hear the girls call each other sister. It seriously makes me want to cry, EVERY time. This is what I wanted. I am so grateful that this is now my reality.

We put E in a big girl bed which means L goes in E's bed (E is too afraid to get down [for the time being]). I love hearing their giggles. L brings her all of the books that aren't put up. Did I mention E's obsession with books? They stay there until I go use my mom voice and tell L to get down. We tried to let them have a sleep over, but they woke up screaming around 4am. I'm guessing they hit heads but who knows.

(this is before we found a bed rail)

bred in her

Tonight, M was telling me about a face that E makes. It's a "what in the h*ll is wrong with you?" face. Apparently it's the exact same face I give M all too often. I guess she gives it to him when he pours water over her head to get the shampoo out. Well, I experienced that same face today and I didn't know what she was doing. The other 2 were asleep and E just woke up from her nap. I went into her room and she wanted to read a book. This girl is obsessed with books. We read one and I don't really remember all of the details before she made the face, but anyway I got it. I was across the room and she was giving me the death stare. I had no idea what she was doing. I kept bugging out my eyes and puckering my lips to make her crack a smile. It wasn't working so I started cracking up. When I started laughing I saw the faintest hint of a smile. But she quickly went back to the look. I am so happy she has my personality. She also closes her eyes and walks around to bump into stuff. I asked my mom, and apparently I did the same thing. I remember doing it when I was older, but I don't remember when I was that little.

I will try to get a picture of the face, but I think if I tried to take a picture of her while she is giving it she will go into full blown temper tantrum.

Timeout

While L was in time out, E thought she had some accomplices that needed to be punished.

Making it work

So, I am just going to post things that make me love my day, my life. I will post more about L and BB if and when they are a permanent members.

So, yesterday M went to Wmart because we got a gift certificate for Christmas. I prefer not to go in there because I am honestly too judgmental. It was late, around 11 pm. When he got back he looked at me and said, "I am so glad we are doing what we are doing." I said, "what are you talking about?" "When I was in Wmart there was a kid crying and his mom just kept telling him to shut up. I looked at him smiled, and he stopped crying." "Was he afraid of you?" M, "No, he was smiling. It just made me sad for him. I am glad that we are fostering."
I mean really, how did I get the best man on earth?!

On a separate note, for those of you who don't know E is quite the accessory queen. She loves anything sparkly. So here is one of her latest combos.

I love that stinker so much! This morning she was in her highchair eating and she started farting. It was a lot. I looked at her and started to laugh. She gave a side smile and said, "Poo!". I said, "No, fart" and she repeated, "Far" and smiled. I mean, really. She is a stinker. hahahah
